Who is better Ronaldo or Messi?

It\’s way past midnight in Nigeria and i just could not get my mind off the greatest individual brand rivalry the sporting world has ever seen. While it stinks to type with a touch screen, I have taken the pains to pour my hearts out once and for all on this subject matter.
There has been so much hype on Messi to the extent that some short sighted analyst have even dared to compare him to the living football god Pelle!

NOW THAT IS WHAT I CALL BLASPHEMING!

While i will like to take nothing away from Messi, (he is a good player when compared to most players) but i think it is a crime of the highest other to say Cristiano Ronaldo is lower in ranking!

 To the similarities:
both players are fleet footed and have tremendous pace.
Differences;
While Messi wants to depend on the foolishness or silly mistake of most defenders to get as close as possible to the goalie before attempting a shot, Ronaldo has proven time and again that whether from 40 yards or 4 yards he can rocket in the goal his latest patent been a back heeled goal!
Sincerly, how can you compare a player that scores 205 goals in 7 seasons (messi) to one that scored more than half of that in just 2 seasons(RONALDO)?
How can you compare a player that has proven his adaptability in not less than 3 distinctively different footballing culture (RONALDO) to one whose ability is yet to be tested by another football culture (messi).

No matter the hype placed on Messi because of uefa\’s love for Barcelona (An open secret that Mitchel Platini is a Barcelona fan; probably the reason for referees show of shame in turning the champions league to a sham all in a bid to favour Barcelona fc) there is no taking it away from my heart that Cristiano Ronaldo is the deserving king of football!
