This is one of those Random post which might not be in consonance with the business theme of this blog but which I saw and felt might heal a home, For me a good home is what makes a successful man. I pray it touches you the way it touched me;

In 2009 when my husband and I were separated and contemplating divorce, I was filled with so much hostility that it was literally impossible for me to reconcile with him. And if you think I was hostile, he was even more hostile towards me as he really thought it was over. At this point, our parents knew and it didn\’t matter that I was three months pregnant with our son either. Our minds were made up and to us that was the last word, BUT LOVE WAS PREPARING TO STAND!

One day while praying, I knew I had to pray for my husband even though I honestly did not want to. The Lord had been dealing with me about praying for him even though I believed we were through. So as I begin to pray FOR him, something started happening inside of me. Walls started to crumble. Walls that had been built on anger, hostility, hurt and more. Walls I\’d built to protect myself from being hurt ever again because I felt that he hurt me just as he felt that I had hurt him. I started crying hard while praying for him. I prayed that the Lord would touch my husband\’s heart and mind and for the Lord to protect him. Then suddenly I begin to ask God to restore my marriage. It was the first real prayer I had prayed for my husband and my marriage in months. MONTHS do you hear me? The very reason why our marriage was in the shape that it was in, was because no one was praying.

We were arguing but not praying. We were complaining but not praying. We were giving each other the cold shoulder but not praying. Two believers were allowing their marriage to be torn apart by SELFISHNESS, BUT LOVE WAS PREPARING TO STAND!

See, during that time I learned that WHEN LOVE STANDS, EVERYTHING ELSE MUST FALL! I learned that WHEN LOVE STANDS, NO ONE who trusts LOVE will fail! I learned that WHEN LOVE STANDS, hatred, anger, bitterness and hostility MUST CEASE because LOVE IS STANDING! Who can really do anything opposite of LOVE when they are standing in the very presence of LOVE? LOVE \”un-hardens\” hardened hearts. LOVE changes the made up mind. LOVE restores the \”un-restorable\”. LOVE FIGHTS FOR YOU when hatred fights against you! WHEN LOVE STANDS, MARRIAGES ARE RESTORED! WHEN LOVE STANDS, BROKEN HEARTS ARE MENDED. WHEN LOVE STANDS, SELFISHNESS IS REPLACED WITH SELFLESSNESS! And we are witnesses to what happened when we let LOVE stand in us. And guess what? It didn\’t even take both of us allowing LOVE to stand in us, all LOVE needed was ONE TO STAND and that happened to be me.

I called my husband up on his job and we argued back and forth for hours about EVERYTHING! Though many of you may say that was worthless to do, LOVE WAS STANDING! How was LOVE standing when we were arguing? BECAUSE WE WERE FIGHTING FOR OUR MARRIAGE! Yes it seemed we were fighting each other, but don\’t miss what was happening. Remember, we were SEPARATED, not living together and NOT TALKING! So this was the first time we were getting it all out. What started as back and forth arguments, ended up with me denying my flesh and asking, \”Will you just come home\”? That question SILENCED my husband. He was quiet until LOVE STOOD UP IN HIM and he answered, \”Yes. Will you come get me\”! He didn\’t say anything that I could not do, so I went and got my man.

So what\’s the point of this post? WHEN LOVE STANDS IN YOU, THINGS MUST CHANGE! They can not remain the same! But guess where the change starts? IN YOU! Don\’t you see? Neither one of us was budging. Neither one of us was praying. Neither one of us was reconciling, but when I allowed LOVE TO STAND IN ME, EVERYTHING CHANGED and that changed started in me as I begin to pray for my husband against the will of my flesh! God then touched my husband\’s heart as I had asked him to and then my husband allowed Love to stand in him.

So no matter what\’s going on in your life right now, allow LOVE TO STAND IN YOU and watch what happens. And what does that mean? It simply means when you operate in LOVE, LOVE stands up in you to do what hatred can not. And that is heal, restore, reconcile, repent, obey, endure, and all of those things that come within the territory of LOVE! #WhenLoveStands

1 Cor 13:4-8a (NIV), \”Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It ALWAYS protects, ALWAYS trusts, ALWAYS hopes, ALWAYS perseveres. LOVE NEVER FAILS\”!!!

WHEN LOVE STANDS, everything mentioned above is achievable in life and your marriage. It is IMPOSSIBLE to achieve all of the things listed in this scripture without LOVE because without LOVE (GOD) WE CAN NO NOTHING! #LetLoveStandInYou
